We believe collaboration is the foundation of great design and foster an open, inclusive environment where everyone’s ideas are welcomed and celebrated. With a spirit of fun and camaraderie, our passionate team draws on each other’s unique perspectives to create innovative solutions and shape the built environment.
We believe in human value beyond academic education, socio-economic/professional status, and station; therefore, we adhere to a non-patriarchal, nonhierarchical, radical inclusion way of being, where all voices and perspectives are heard – internally with staff and externally with partners, stakeholders, community, and clients. We understand that diverse perspectives make us better at being good humans and trustworthy stewards of the built environment.
We understand that many of us suffer a lack of resources and access in this industry due to race and nationality. It is our goal to mitigate these challenges. Our internal hiring process is equity-based, so we focus on the individual and amplify qualities of moral compass, life experience, ambition, team synergy, passion for the work, commitment to community, and social intention. We teach, learn and grow together.

Managing Principal

Anybe joined Studio 26 as a result of a mutual partnership with her own firm, Jemile Design Collaborative (JDC), which she founded to implement her interior design philosophies of inclusivity and create collaborative opportunities with other firms. Upon recognizing the shared visions between JDC and Studio 26, a collaboration was initiated, ultimately leading to the merger of both firms. This merger enables them to engage in a wider range of projects that align with their common mission.
Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Lawrence, MA, Anybe found Lawrence to be an enriching place to grow up, offering a strong sense of diversity awareness, exposure to different cultures, and a rich historical backdrop. She pursued a degree in Architecture at Massachusetts College of Art & Design and furthered her education with graduate courses at the Boston Architectural College (BAC). She has also obtained her Construction Supervisors license. With 15 years of experience in the design industry, Anybe's passion for design is deeply rooted in her diverse cultural background and formative experiences.
When she isn't fully engaged in design projects, Anybe enjoys life's simple pleasures, such as nature hikes, exploring new destinations through travel, and cherishing quality time spent with her family and friends.
