I found this guy’s stuff on tumblr and I found it intriguing. I love the use of different patterns and colors, giving an otherwise ordinary portrait rich texture and character. I also think it’s pretty sweet that he designed two skateboards as a fund-raiser for Skateistan, a charity that provides skate parks and skateboards to kids in Afghanistan’s major cities to provide kids an opportunity to just be kids. Art is a beautiful thing as it is, but to be able to use it to give back makes it even more wonderful!
